Simple Style generator

Welcome on Simple style generator. The aim of this generator is to help Zotero users to create citation styles.

With this new version you can now manage different styles for article, book, chapter etc.. Click on grey elements to configure options. This generator is based on Zotero documentation availble here.

This generator have some limitation but can generate the most common option used in the citation style. If you want to comment, help, report a problem you can contact me on this forum.

Start a new style

Step 1:

Style name :

Step 2: choose citation style

numbered (ex: [1])
author / author-date (ex: (Doe and Smith) / (Doe and Smith 2008))

On the left configure bibliography order. The text-box aroud the selection accept any element even space. Use it to configure separation between two elements. On the right you can manage options for each element; click on grey bar to see more. (Options apears when element is selected)

Hanging indent

Manage exceptions: Bibliography order must be made even it is the same of the general one.
